A number of new opportunities have come open as investment banks in Tokyo look to start new projects for the coming year.

There is currently a push for qualified object oriented developers in Tokyo for a number of different banks and product areas.

A qualified candidate will be currently in Tokyo with recent/current experience working on the technologies/product areas mentioned below. English is required for all these roles and the more Japanese the better. Native Japanese speakers are strongly desired.      

These roles require hands on experience in C++, Java or both. A qualified candidate will have experience with a relational database and have worked in a UNIX environment.   

The development roles include:

Fixed Income pricing/risk

Interest rates derivative

Asset Management

Compliance

Derivative trade processing (Equities and FID)

Derivative sales (Equities and FID)

Futures

FX
